Word Nice’s Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026

Word Nice collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours for the app to talk to. The otter doesn’t want to know your business.

What stays on your device

Your progress through the families and your settings, kept in standard iOS app storage. Deleting the app removes them.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is copied to your own iCloud account so it follows you to your other devices. Apple keeps that copy under your Apple Account; we can’t see it. Signed out, nothing syncs and the game plays the same.

Sharing and links

Sharing a family sends a link to it, only when you tap Share, to wherever you choose. Looking up a word uses the dictionary built into iOS. Settings mentions our cousin Word Vice, a word game for grown-ups; its link opens a web page only if you tap it.

Apple

Apple collects download information under Apple’s privacy policy, independently of Word Nice. If you opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers, Apple may show us anonymous, aggregated crash data.

Children

Word Nice is for everyone, and it collects nothing from anyone, children included.
