Common questions

How do I finish a family?

Make words from neighboring letters until every letter has been in at least one. Smiling letters can be used again to reach the shy ones. There’s no timer and no score.

It won’t accept a real word.

The word list leaves out names, abbreviations, and very obscure words on purpose. If a word clearly belongs, send it to me and I’ll add it.

Swiping is hard for me.

Turn on Tap letters to spell in Settings and tap each letter instead. It’s always on with VoiceOver.

Will my progress move to a new device?

Yes, if you’re signed in to iCloud on both. Otherwise progress lives on the device, and deleting the app clears it. See the privacy policy.

Is there an Android version?

Not today. iPhone and iPad only.
